An exciting opportunity exists for a Module Test/Development Engineer II to join our engineering test teams at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

What You Will Do:

• Perform measurements on RF/microwave/millimeter-wave modules
• Assemble and troubleshoot RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
• Trouble-shoot and rework modules
• Use software to control test equipment and plot test results

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and a minimum of 2 years experience with RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience specific to RF/microwave module and circuit measurements
• Experience trouble-shooting microwave modules
• Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.
• Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP
• Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Electromagnetics

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
