Responsibilities:

Manage the planning of systems using radar and radio frequency (RF) for technology R&D.
Participate in the design of electrical equipment, components, or systems that characterize the properties of radar and RF (as well as interaction with matter).
Perform tests on sensor modes which satisfy requirements and maximize sensor performance.
Collect and analyze data from laboratory or other tests (test and evaluation).
Support the investigation of new algorithms to advance the state of the art in signal processing and sensor design.
Ensure radar properties and interactions with matter are properly characterized.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of design of electrical equipment, components, or systems that characterize the properties of radar and RF.
Knowledge of RF/Radar Systems Engineers work with a team to perform advanced system and algorithm development using established systems engineering approaches.
Ability to examine and process radar/RF modes, systems, and capabilities.
Ability to design or examine sensor modes which satisfy requirements and maximize sensor performance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail oriented and capable of completing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
Must be able to prioritize workloads.
Must thrive in fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Job Requirements:
Experience and Education Requirements:

BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, math, physics, or related technical field.
3-10 years of professional experience.
Experience in the design, test, or operation of radars and RF.


Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

Office environment.
Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening; subsequent random screening per anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention program requirements.
The contractor must have or be eligible for a TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
All contractor personnel must be willing to take, and be able to pass, a CI Scope Polygraph Examination.


Travel:

Travel may be required and will be performed under the guidelines of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and/or Joint Travel Regulations, Volume II (JTR).
