The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our Environmental Test Engineering team in Berkeley, MO. This position will be responsible for leading development of test requirements, integrating test hardware and equipment with laboratory test articles and facility installations, and technical oversight of test operations. The environmental test labs support testing across a breadth of requirements including acoustic, vibration, shock/drop, vibration, structural dynamics, airflow systems, fuel flow systems, temperature/altitude/humidity, high temperature flow impingement, and environmental control.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity. Leads the development of test procedures
- Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
- Lead test system design, identify and implement innovative and efficient test methods
- Develop data processing tools and algorithms
- Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
- Oversee debriefing of the test team
- Lead the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements
- Approve test data prior to delivery to customer
- Formulate expectations for test data based on historical data
- Manages test equipment and test facility capital investment projects
- Train others
- Work under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience working in hardware systems test or design, lab testing, or systems engineering role
- 3+ years of experience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and management
- Experience with system and/or systems architecture

Summary pay range: $113,900 – $154,100
