JOB SUMMARY:
To rework, rebuild and repair autoclave processed parts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Works from blueprints, rejections, shop routers, oral and written instructions to rework, rebuild and
repair production aircraft parts where corrective action is necessary. Determines best method of
accomplishing repairs prescribed by inspection and engineering.
II. Obtains tools, fixtures and parts required to complete work. Uses a variety of hand and power tools
such as pliers, knives, files, saws, rivet guns, drills and scrapers. Mixes and applies various adhesives
and compounds. Occasionally improvises holding devices or shop aids to assist with rebuilding and
repair.
III. Measures and lays out work according to relationship of parts. Responsible for final sellout of parts to
inspection.
IV. Responsible only for own work.
V. Performs other related duties as required.
