Ability to Obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test digital and mixed-signal electronic systems, including radar and communications equipment
- Create and maintain schematic designs and multi-layer PCB layouts with controlled impedance and high-speed considerations
- Perform signal integrity analysis, including crosstalk, timing, and noise evaluation
- Integrate and support microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoCs in system designs
- Drive hardware validation, testing, and debugging activities
- Ensure designs align with industry standards and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational strategy
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) field
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Technical Skills:
- Schematic capture and hardware design
- Multi-layer PCB design (controlled impedance, blind/buried vias)
- Signal integrity analysis (crosstalk, timing, noise)
- Experience with processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoCs
- Hardware testing and validation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mentor Graphics (Mentor/Siemens EDA) tools
- High-reliability or space/aerospace design environments
- Worst Case Analysis (WCA) and Stress Analysis
