Support cost reduction initiativesSupport assigned supplier negotiationsDevelop data analytic tool sets that improve efficiencySupport/develop/manage key supplier relationship strategiesEvaluate sourcing options to align and leverage business unit awardsEngage with the Supply Chain team and assist in tracking and driving supplier performanceInteract with other internal departments to improve efficiencies within the Supply Chain and Materials team.Other responsibilities as requiredProficient with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel and/or other data toolsExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)Strong interpersonal skillsMust be able to work independently with some directionProfessional who is results oriented and a team playerGreat collaborator willing to reach out to subject matter experts for help and also be patient and calm under pressureTravel Requirement: < 5
Basic Qualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holderPreferred Qualification:Prior internship experience preferred but not requiredNothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
