The Kittitas County Airport (Bowers Field) is a public use general aviation airport owned by Kittitas County, located 2 miles north of the City of Ellensburg and 3 miles from the nearest I-90 exit.
Runway 11-29 is 4,300 feet long and 150 feet wide and has transmitter-activated lights, from sunset to sunrise, is equipped at the "29" end with runway end identifier lights (REILS), and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI). A VOR is located 2.5 miles east of the airport and provides a non-precision approach. Runway 11-29 has distance-to-go markers.
Bowers Field has two fixed operators (FBO) for the airport providing for aircraft maintenance, instruction and support services. The airport serves single-engine, twin-engine and turboprop aircrafts. There is no scheduled flight service.
