Performs airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirementsRemoval and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systemsPerforms routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAAOperates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignmentCompletes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control ManualsAccurately records time worked on aircraft work orderInterprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprintsDemonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising qualityPresents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeepingPerforms other aircraft maintenance work as requiredTows and parks aircraftPerforms other duties as assigned
High school graduate or equivalentPrevious experience (3-plus years) preferred but not requiredFAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate requiredAirframe structural/composite repair experience a plusAbility to work in a fast paced, team environmentMust possess a valid driver's license and obtain an airport SIDA badge
