HQ Aero is currently recruiting for A&P MECHANICS in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

The A&P is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance is accomplished in accordance with the customer's policies and procedures. A&P's are also responsible for ensuring all aircraft technical documents and FAA Aviation Regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  • As an experienced A&P Mechanic, you are qualified to:
  • Ensure maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with the company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
  • Acquire and maintain Airport Security Clearance.
  • Liaise with the Lead with regards to scheduled assigned overnight work packages.
  • Ensure that all Documentation is completed properly prior to submission to Technical Records.
  • Responsible to ensure the consumable materials and tooling stored are maintained in a neat and tidy manner.
  • Assist the Lead in ensuring the hangar work areas are kept clean in an effort to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Utilize the reporting program for any hazards or incidents that may occur.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

  • Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
Job Requirements:
  • A&P License required.
  • Strong background with Line Maintenance & Heavy Maintenance Checks required.
  • Structures Mechanic experience preferred.
  • Experience with Airbus preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
