JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic with 3+ years of corporate aviation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and extensive line maintenance experience on Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Citation aircraft. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality in aircraft maintenance.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with Engineering’s RSQCM, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation of findings and corrective actions.
- Immediately report any issues related to parts, materials, workmanship, or airworthiness to the Lead Mechanic.
- Provide detailed work progression updates and open item reports for shift turnovers.
- Properly tag, store, and organize aircraft components, parts, and panels.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Ensure personal hand tools are sufficient for assigned maintenance duties.
- Work closely with the Lead Mechanic to achieve operational and maintenance goals.
- Be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Travel up to 25% for maintenance support as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- 3+ years of recent experience in corporate aviation maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Citation aircraft (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and line maintenance experience required.
- Familiarity with FAR 135 and 145 policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft technical data interpretation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe.
- Effective communication skills in English (oral and written).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be flexible when it comes to shift scheduling; shift preference will be taken into account regarding availability and candidate's experience
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant License
- Airframe license alone also accepted
- Proof of US Citizenship or authorization to work in the US
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Ability to submit to a pre-employment criminal background check and a FAA DOT drug test screening.
PAY
- Hourly based on years/aircraft experience.
- Split per diem is available to those who qualify.
- OT is time and ½
- Paid weekly after the first week of work.
