The Licensed Rotary-Wing Mechanic maintains and ensures the airworthiness of helicopters, including Bell 407, Sikorsky S76 and S92, and Airbus EC135, EC145, AS35, and H125 models. This role performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs to support rotorcraft MRO operations while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company maintenance standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- This position will work with or without supervision in performing aircraft airframe and engine inspections, repair and maintenance unassisted, on multiple types of aircraft as required by FAA regulations
- Repair aircraft and related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications and company directives
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance associated with lease return projects
- Complete maintenance documentation and task cards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Carry out routine inspections and evaluate aircraft condition
- Diagnose, test, and repair aircraft systems and components
- Remove, install, and replace aircraft parts as needed
- Perform structural, mechanical, and system repairs
- Conduct functional and operational checks to verify aircraft serviceability
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and maintenance standards
- Assist with additional maintenance-related responsibilities as required
Pay & Schedule
- Hourly compensation commensurate with experience.
- Split per diem available for eligible employees.
