A&P Mechanic - Traveling Installation Team

Consortia Aerospace Group, an innovative aerospace solutions firm headquartered in Conway, South Carolina, is currently seeking to hire motivated, mission oriented certified A&P mechanics for our specialty Installation Mod Travel Teams for long term, full-time positions.  The Company has recently been awarded multi-year installation programs with Part 121 operators.  Team members will be installing various avionics products, including but not limited to In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS upgrades on various aircraft types.  All team members are expected to perform installations in accordance with aircraft manufacturer manuals, engineering drawings, FAR’s and Company policies, while always maintaining the highest safety standards.

Locations include: Gainesville, FL : Memphis, TN : Indianapolis, IN : Little Rock, AR : Myrtle Beach, SC : Multiple Other Locales still to be determined.

We are currently recruiting for: Certified A&P Mechanic in both AVIONICS & SHEET METAL.

• This is a FULL TIME TRAVEL POSITION. Our team members consistently average BETWEEN $1800-$2200 per week depending on contract. 
• Must have the ambition and drive to work as a true team player as part of our Travel Road Team.
• This position requires a commitment to CONTINUAL LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENTS with overtime at various airline maintenance bases as part of a specialized team.

• Airframe License Required
• Must be a High School Graduate or GED.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs and work stands unassisted.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, unassisted.
• Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
• Must have excellent communication and people skills.
• Must be able to exercise good judgment in TEAM environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety.
• Must be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer's Manuals.
• Position is subject to pre-employment and ongoing random FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol testing.
• Must provide own tools.
