Job Description:
Air Maui Helicopter Tours, a Part 135 tour operator is searching for licensed A&P Mechanics for operations in Maui, HI to maintain fleet of Airbus AS350 Helicopters for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
 
Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and service bulletins outlined by the aircraft and engine manufacturer along with FAA issued AD's applicable to the aircraft. Maintenance will include troubleshooting Airframe, Engine, and Electrical systems; and replacing engines, transmissions, and other components. Other duties may be assigned.
 
Mechanic will train in Las Vegas / Boulder City, NV under sister company, Serenity Helicopters, for at least 3 weeks before relocating to Maui, HI after an evaluation. If Applicant is a resident of Hawaii training will be at the Air Maui Facility.
 
Transportation and housing will be offered during training in Las Vegas and expenses for move to Maui will be reimbursed after an agreeable duration between both parties.

Job Requirements:
  • Possess current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) with no enforcement action(s) pending
  • Experience maintaining Airbus / Eurocopter AS350 BA / B2 expected.
  • Ensure company operational goals and maintenance deadlines are met with the highest concern for safety.
  • Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals.
  • Able to work any shift.
  • Able to work as a team member or independently.
  • Able to use calibrated, hand and specialized tools.
  • Must be organized.
  • Able to understand and properly use aircraft manuals.
  • Able to document work as per regulations in the way of maintenance entries.
  • Able to manage time and duties effectively.
  • Possess quality decision making capability and mental alertness to ensure safety.
  • Able to work in varying conditions, stand for long periods of time, fit in tight spaces, climb aircraft and support stands, fly on-board company aircraft when necessary.
Salary Range: $60,000-Negotiable DOE
Relocation: Yes - TBD (Negotiable)
