Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic
Sterling Flight Training is a FAR approved part 141 flight training school located at Florida’s Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport (KCRG) and a satellite location at TLH. We seek a motivated A&P mechanic who wants to grow in their career by providing aircraft maintenance on our general aviation fleet of piston Piper and Cessna aircraft. RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Ensure compliance of fleet aircraft and maintaining of tracking system.
- Forecast regular maintenance events and coordinate with scheduling/reservations department.
- Document all scheduled and unscheduled items are completed in a timely manner.
- Participate in Safety Management System duties as assigned.
- Perform quality control and assurance of aircraft maintenance activities including overhaul, modification, maintenance and repair of aircraft structures, engines and accessories.
- Ensure good communication with vendors.
- Maintain a current and accurate list of all calibrated tooling and ensure that out-of-calibration tooling is removed from service and not used.
- Ensure all work accomplished is completed in accordance with the company’s policies, General Maintenance Manual, Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals and current CFRs.
- Ensure all company maintenance facilities and equipment are kept clean and organized for efficient maintenance workflow.
