Duties & Responsibilities
 
  • Performs routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft
  • Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details
  • Leads small projects
  • Makes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flow
  • Responsible for motivating, mentoring, training, and providing constructive criticism to technicians
  • Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of work
  • Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
  • Understands and follows safety procedures and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
  • Responsible for completing training syllabus for advancement to Lead Technician
  • Performs other duties as directed
  • Inspection Performs visual inspections for quality and workmanship
  • Ensures proper tooling is used to determine airworthiness and is calibrated to a US standard which is current for that calibration
  • Ensures all maintenance performed is of such quality that the condition of the aircraft, airframe, engine, propeller, or appliance work is at least equal to its original or properly altered condition and other qualities affecting airworthiness
  • Performs other inspection duties as assigned

Locations: Idaho and Coastal Maine.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
 
  • Experience: Minimum four (4) years’ experience working with general aviation airframes 
  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft systems
 
Education: Airframe & Powerplant certifications require
