Job Requirements:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform line and heavy maintenance on turboprop and light/mid-size business jets in compliance with FAA and manufacturer standards.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframe and powerplant systems.
- Open and close panels, remove and install cowlings, interiors, and aircraft components as needed.
- Assist with aircraft washing, cleaning, and detailing (interior and exterior), as well as maintaining ground support equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely logbook and work order documentation for all tasks performed.
- Collaborate with avionics, sheet metal, and interior teams on modification and refurbishment projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace, including hangar floors, restrooms, and shared facilities.
- Properly handle all parts during maintenance and repair processes.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently or as part of a team, often under time-sensitive deadlines or mission-critical response situations.
- Communicate clearly with leads, supervisors, and quality teams to ensure precise, on-schedule completion of work.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) and utilize basic computer skills for work order and part tracking.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- 7-10+ years of A&P maintenance experience.
- Recent hands-on experience working on turboprop or business jet aircraft.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, service bulletins, and repair station procedures.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 7-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Proof of US Citizenship.
- MUST have basic tools/box.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, climb, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the work shift.
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs independently and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions typical of Pennsylvania, including dust, humidity, rain, sleet, snow, heat, and cold.
- Work may involve exposure to chemicals, gases, fumes, noise, and heights.
- Must be willing to work day or night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
