Job Description:

Temporary Housing Assistance:

If needed, we can provide hotel accommodation for your first two weeks until you begin receiving paychecks. The cost will be deducted equally from your first two paychecks (50% each). After two weeks, you may either continue at the same hotel at your own expense or arrange your own housing.

Job Title: A&P (Aircraft Maintenance) Mechanic Role with (FAA A&P –Airframe & Power Plant Licence/ Certification) with Hands on experience with Aircraft Inspections, Quality Control, Quality Inspections, Airworthiness, Aircraft Maintenance, Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Experience with "Commercial Aviation/ Aircraft - Boeing, Airbus, MD & DC" OR "Corporate/ Business Jets/ Aviation/ Aircrafts - Bombardier, Gulfstream & Embraer"

Location: Peru, IN 46970 (Onsite from Day 1st)

Duration: 1 Year Contract Opportunity

Salary/ Hourly Rates: $30-$38/hr. (On Experience Basis) Per Diem Split Included ($7.25/hr. Taxable & Rest of the amount would be Non-Taxable), (No Benefits, No Relocation Assistance & No Housing)

Payment Method: Weekly

Shifts: Both (1st & 2nd) Shifts are Available

OT: Yes, OT is available most of the Year with TIME and HALF on Regular Pay

Note:

Must be an independent candidate (able to work on W2/ Per Diem) or must be presently working in United States.
Must be able to work onsite to any of the mentioned locations.
Must be able to relocate to any of the Client's Location at your own expenses.
Must have their own Tools/ Tools Kit which have to bring with them to the project.
Must be able to work on Per Diem Split.
Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks.
Must have a valid USA Driving Licence.
Must be able to pass 10 Year's Criminal/ Employment Background Check & Pre-Employment Drug Screen Test.

Job Requirements:

Under minimal supervision, perform scheduled inspections, routine service to complex maintenance and repair activities on various airframe types.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide technical guidance, OJT and instruction regarding scheduled inspections, routine service to complex maintenance and repair activities on various airframe types.
Complete all maintenance activities as stated on the work order, incoming inspection or in a manufacture required service bulletin, CAMP cards, etc.
Perform advanced aircraft modifications, corrosion, landing gear or engine removals.
Ensure all work is completed per the maintenance manual, service bulletin, RSM, FAR or other such documentation.
In partnership with Quality ensure full compliance to all internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements. To include proper sign-off’s, completion of component removal sheets, etc.
Demonstrate effective maintenance repair techniques using acceptable practices, tooling and providing mentoring to junior level technicians.
Conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
Ensures quality and efficiency of all assigned inspections, service and maintenance work scopes.
Maintain a safe working environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:

High school diploma or GED. Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance
Valid FAA A&P license
6 years of progressive maintenance experience and/or training in the business aviation industry or military.
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and maintenance manuals.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.

The hangar where this position works is in an environment that may have exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues such as fluctuations in temperature. The employee in this position will experience occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements.
