Education level: High school diploma required
Experience: Five (5) years’ experience as an AH-64, OH-58D, AH-6I / MD-500 series aircraft Technical Inspector required. Able to use the Automated Weight and Balance Software (AWBS) required.Possess the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Inspector Authorization (IA) certificate desired. A&P Preferred.
Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Military experience as aircraft Technical Inspector or possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license with Inspection Authorization (IA). Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation. Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on multiple aircraft. Ability to communicate both orally and written. Successfully pass an overseas deployment Physical upon hire. Ability to effectively deal with people in the supervision of staff and team members. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner. Possesses a valid State driver’s license.
