Ensures the tool room equipment and aviation ground support equipment (AGSE) are accounted for, replace and repair as needed to support the unit overall mission readiness rates (OR). Responsible for ensuring accurate ordering, accounting, stocking, issue, transfer, and receipt of spares and consumable parts. Perform inventories as required by the brigade Standard Operating Procedures to support daily mission requirements. Responsible to sign-out equipment required for daily maintenance and flight line support. Ensures the all tool and equipment are turned in and accounted for at the end of their shift A. Duties/responsibilities:
1. Tracks, accounts, and maintains all calibrated tools in accordance (IAW) with all applicable technical manuals, publications, and regulations.
2. Ensures all tools and ground support equipment are maintained in accordance with all applicable technical manuals, publications, and regulations.
3. Performs inventory cycle counts; research missing tools and equipment; then report any discrepancies.
4. Ensures all tools and equipment are turned in and accounted for at the end of their shift.
5. Prepares, reviews, and updates applicable forms and records.
6. Uses common measuring tools, measuring gauges, and alignment fixtures.
7. Supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
8. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.
9. Provides On-the-Job Training (OJT), coaching, and mentoring to Saudi Arabia National Guard (SANG) personnel.
10. Other tasks as directed by the first line supervisor or higher.
B. Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
