AI Systems Inc. is looking for a licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to perform line maintenance. This position is responsible for performing maintenance on high-performance experimental aircraft.

Essential Functions:

The Maintenance Technician's primary functions include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, engine, and basic avionics
• Read and comprehend aircraft service manuals
• Organize and assist in shop efficiency improvements
• Work with management to ensure jobs are completed safely and on-time
• Document and maintain discrepancy logs for individual aircraft
• Write log book entries

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma (Required)
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (Required)
• Inspection Authorization (Preferred)
• Experience with Pratt and Whitney turbo prop engines (Preferred)
• Experience with Continental and Lycoming engines (Preferred)
• Experience with composite materials (Preferred)
• Self-motivated
• Problem solver
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Physically able to work in tight and/or uncomfortable spaces
• Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week may be required at times.
