Western Aviation is a Fixed Base Operator and Part 145 Repair Station located in Spokane, WA. Seeking an A&P certified, IA preferred, Aircraft Mechanic. Qualified candidates should value teamwork and be goal-oriented. 10+ years of experience working in general aviation, including private and corporate aircraft are preferred.
Western Aviation's Aircraft Mechanics perform varying amounts of parts replacement or repair, troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft, the inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components, hydraulic and pneumatic system work, inspection of aircraft or systems and general mechanical application; general mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems; repair work and sheet metal repair or installation. Job duties will vary each day, working in teams and independently, and will encompass projects as designated by the Maintenance Manager.
The Avionics Mechanic is required to follow all FAA and OEM specifications while ensuring compliance with repair station manual and safety policies; a complete understanding of federal regulations for aviation; an A&P certificate; interpersonal skills, working as a team and the ability to communicate effectively. FAA regulated pre-employment and random drug testing is conducted.
