AVEX is seeking a Quality Inspector at our facility located at KCMA in Camarillo, CA. This position is to ensure compliance with FARs, Repair Station Manual and provide quality review of Repair Station work orders. The Inspector is involved with day-to-day decisions of aircraft airworthiness, directing and orienting Inspectors to execute their work in accordance with the requirements in line with the Repair Station procedures and guaranteeing compliance to FAA regulations.

Job Requirements:

Must have Inspector Authorization (I.A.) license
Aviation Inspector experience, returning aircraft to service
Experience with Turbo Prop on Part 91 aircraft (TBM, King Air, PC-12, or similar)
Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine experience
Customer service experience
Strong leadership skills
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player
No violations
Log book entry preparation
In depth knowledge of FARs
Experience closing work orders
Proficient with computer systems (preferably Outlook Email, Word & Excel)
Must live locally or willing to relocate here immediately

PREFERRED Qualifications:

Knowledge of borescope operation and review
Tooling/fixtures experience
Experience with Engine Trend Monitoring (WebETCM)
Project Management experience
Managerial experience
Experience with Daher TBM aircraft
