We're looking for a full time Aircraft Maintenance Manager / A&P Aircraft Mechanic to join the Performance team! Our Part 141 flight school is growing rapidly, and we need someone to take lead on keeping our fleet of Cirrus, Cessna, and Piper training aircraft well-maintained.
 
A few things about us:
Recently built a new facility which includes a 90x100 heated hangar
Currently have 12 aircraft in our fleet
We believe we can positively impact and empower lives through aviation
 
Job duties may include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Managing growth and development initiatives for the maintenance department
  • Management of maintenance personnel
  • Assisting in hiring and performing periodic reviews
  • Attending and/or leading team meetings/huddles as necessary
  • Working with team to develop and implement maintenance quoting and billing systems
  • Performing necessary aircraft maintenance and inspections
  • Ensuring all aircraft are in an airworthy condition
  • Maintaining all aircraft records per FAA regulations
  • Managing parts ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Special Projects and issues related to aircraft maintenance
  • Responsible for maintenance tracking and coordinating maintenance scheduling
  • Addressing all aircraft squawks in a timely manner
  • Flying to an off base location to assist a student or flight instructor should maintenance need arise
  • Keeping maintenance facility and equipment in clean, safe, and working order
  • Identifying, researching, and purchasing maintenance support equipment as needed
  • Assisting with and attending company events
Compensation based on experience with opportunities for future advancement.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid and active A&P certificate (IA preferred).
At least three years of piston aircraft maintenance experience highly preferred. 
Team player passionate about building an effective and efficient fleet maintenance department.
