General Aviation Maintenance Supervisor
Force Aviation is looking for someone with the experience of leading a team of A&P Mechanics, as well as scheduling maintenance and meeting deadlines. While this position is for our piston department, we also have opportunity to transition to the turbine department if that is your long term goal.
Seeking to hire an A&P Mechanic with experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, powerplant, and electrical systems in General Aviation aircraft.
Schedules Shift 1 Monday-Thursday 10 hour days, 40 hours per week role intended as a long-term career role with a stable local company.
Shift 2 Friday - Sunday 12 hour days, 36 hours worked and paid for 40 hours per week.
- A&P Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, removing / installing components, and troubleshooting in General Aviation aircraft, as well as supporting modifications and maintenance related to Avionics upgrades.
- Reading maintenance manual, reviewing the layout, selecting tools and performing repairs of Lycoming and continental motors, etc; performing installs of STC’s, troubleshooting and repairing, submitting for inspection and signoff.
