Description:
Position requires a skilled Corrosion Control technician that can perform corrosion control maintenance on H-60 helicopters, which also includes visual structural inspections, corrosion prone area inspections, components, and corrosion treatment of affected areas.
Essential Responsibilities:
Current or previous experience performing corrosion control on aviation aircraft to include but not limited to:
Perform task as assigned/directed Supervisor with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
Preserve and de-preserve aircraft.
Perform touch up painting. Touch up is defined as an area no larger than one square foot, excluding aircraft leading edges.
Assist in the preparation of the aircraft and/ or components for complete repainting including the application of model, labels, and the makeup, cut out and preparations of stencils.
Use hand and power tools as required for corrosion prevention, treatment and touch up painting.
Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel to include maintaining appropriate training records to document training.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
4 years or more general experience in aircraft corrosion control.
Posses a thorough working knowledge of corrosion theory, detection, treatment, and prevention.
Working Knowledge of applicable maintenance/ technical manuals, basic tools and special tools.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction.
Be able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, special tools, scales, test stands, and external power sources.

Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day. Also be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
