ACET is seeking a C-40A Mechanic to join our team in Kaneohe Bay, HI!
 
This Project is for the performance of site stand up and sustainment of the two aircraft at VR-51, MCBH, K-Bay.  The maintenance requirements under this project is specifically for Line Maintenance.  This Project shall use the C-40A Maintenance Program developed in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and the Government. The Contractor’s maintenance practices and parts management activities shall be performed in support of Extended Range Twin Operations (ETOPS) requirements.
The Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians will diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, recommend broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have basic knowledge of electrical theory, must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers. This job requires working with aircraft maintenance manuals.
**Position requires prolonged standing, kneeling, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Will be required to work outdoors on a daily basis.  Travel required up to 120 consecutive days to CONUS/OCONUS locations for support customer requirements.**
 
Job Requirements:
  • 5 years’ experience providing line maintenance and troubleshooting services for transport category aircraft similar to 737-700
  • Must have and maintain an active Secret clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid A&P license required with 737 Next Generation or equivalent experience
  • Have the ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, diagrams and drawings. 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. 
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time, kneeling, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. 
  • Will be required to work outdoors on a daily basis.  
  • Travel required up to 120 consecutive days to CONUS/OCONUS locations for support customer requirements.
