$28–$45/HR
Direct Placement - A&P Travel Mechanic
- Perform AOG (Aircraft on Ground) maintenance and repairs in various locations across North America.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft.
- Complete all work in accordance with applicable manuals, regulations, and quality standards.
- Assist in other maintenance disciplines, including Avionics, Structures, and Composites.
- Conduct mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
- Return aircraft to service after off-site maintenance.
- Participate in the software change control process boards.
- Maintain and audit your work truck and location monthly.
- Serve as a Delegated Inspector (DI) as qualified by QA.
Requirements:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and adapt to fast-changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills for clear updates to customers and team members.
- Basic set of hand tools with inventory control.
- Valid driver’s license with insurable status.
- Ability to travel with as little as 2 hours’ notice for assignments lasting up to 30 days.
- Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather conditions.
- Valid passport and eligibility for international travel.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with specific business jet platforms.
- Knowledge of inspection procedures and return-to-service processes.
