Job Title: Aircraft Structural Technician
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Aircraft Structural Technicians to join our team, focusing primarily on Q400 aircraft. You will work alongside a team of 5-6 mechanics, engaging in heavy maintenance tasks (80) and line checks (20) as needed from a structural perspective. This role involves moving between aircraft on the airside, exposed to the elements.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance on Q400 and other regional jets.
- Conduct line checks and structural repairs on aircraft.
- Work collaboratively with a team of mechanics and permanent employees.
- Drive between aircraft on the airside to perform necessary maintenance tasks.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of heavy maintenance experience on regional jets such as Q400 and Dash Classic.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, line maintenance, repair, sheet metal, and airframe.
- Proficiency in aircraft sheet metal and heavy structures.

Compensation
- $55.00 (AME S)
- $50.00 (Unlicensed)
Work Environment
You will work within a dynamic, multicultural environment on the airport grounds, potentially within a hangar. The team is non-unionized, and the dress code requires steel-toed shoes and work pants. Shifts rotate between 5,5,4 option or Monday to Friday schedule, with hours from 5 AM - 5 PM or 6 AM - 6 PM, subject to change based on skills and experience. Please note that this is a local contract in Calgary. Travel allowance/per diem and accommodation is not offered for this contract.
