The Aircraft Technician (Non-Certifying Staff) will report to the ProductionSupervisors and provide assistance to the Certifying Technicians as assigned bythe Production Supervisors or Production Manager.
Summary of KeyResponsibilities:
Perform maintenance of aircraft under the direct supervision ofqualified maintenance personnel Keep work area clean and organized to ensure the completion of work in asafe and efficient manner Report any safety related issues whether aircraft specific, facility orhuman factors related immediately to their supervisor Possess the basic tools required for the completion of given tasks Carry out any aircraft maintenance related duties as directed bymanagement and supervisory staff Ensure all assigned work is conducted as scheduled in a timely manner Ensure that required standards of quality are achieved for all workcarried out Ensure that all maintenance is conducted in accordance with approveddata Comply with Company procedures and manufacturers’ maintenancerequirements such that a Certificate of Release to Service may be issued by aCertifying Technician Any other duties within the sphere of competence of the post-holder
RequirementsQualifications, Skills & Experience:
High school diploma with at least 4 GCE ‘O’ level passes inclusive ofMath and English Technical Aviation training toinclude FAA A&P Certificate (preferred) Basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software Ability to read basic schematic diagrams Be conversant with the use of basic tools such as drills and other airtools Must be able to comprehend basic instructions as directed in maintenancemanuals Ability to trouble shoot aircraft systems Excellent interpersonal skills Highly effective written and oral communication skills
