Shift Hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM - Overtime opportunities may be available

We are seeking experienced Assembler C professionals to perform complex aircraft production assembly operations. This role supports the assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and structural aircraft systems using manual and automated tools. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Successful completion of mandatory classroom training (5–10 days) is required before assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex bench assembly and installation of mechanical and structural aircraft components and systems in accordance with engineering data and manufacturing plans
• Assemble, install, remove, or replace aircraft components and associated hardware following work instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Conduct functional tests and operational checks of aircraft mechanical systems and document results per established procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies using engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Utilize a variety of manual and automated assembly tools, including specialized mechanical, structural, and electrical tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, following EHS, safety, and tooling requirements
• Support production schedules and delivery objectives
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

Assembly & Manufacturing Experience

• 4+ years of experience in aviation mechanical and/or structural assembly
• Strong knowledge of aircraft production processes and manufacturing operations
• Experience working with structures, composites, and mechanical assemblies
• Ability to distinguish between manufacturing vs. in-service procedures

Tools & Equipment

• Proficient with specialized tools such as:
• Sheet metal tools (cornice brakes, metal shears)
• Pneumatic rivet squeezers
• Cold-hardening kits
• Electrical tools (crimpers, wire-routing tools, multimeters)

Technical & Documentation Skills

• Ability to read, interpret, and work from:
• Engineering drawings and blueprints
• Schematics and wiring diagrams
• Specifications, change notices, and design documents

Shop & Safety Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of shop processes including:
• FOD prevention
• Material handling
• Tool calibration
• ESD procedures
• Workplace safety standards

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (vocational school, associate degree, or higher)
