Assembly Project Specialist is responsible of the assembly activities for development aircraft engine.
In this role she/he will be responsible to coordinate a cross functional teams in production and supply chain to meet the mission targets: program milestones, schedules, delivery and cost.
She/he will be responsible for the fulfillment of all assembly requirements received by the Module Engineer, Eval and System Engineer.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
- Coordinate a cross functional team within production and supply chain (i.e. Technologist, mechanics, planner, quality, logistic) to deliver development engines per schedule.
- Provides project management structure and team support in the area of engine assembly.
- Assure assembly readiness capacity and capability to meet program requirements.
- Verify that all requirements from Engineering/Certification are implemented in assembly manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with System/Model Engineers, Evaluation Engineers, Instrumentation Project Manager to evaluate design changes impacts and feasibility.
- Lead improvement plan in assembly area to reduce lead time and cost.
- Communicate assembly KPI and action plan to leadership
- Work in shifts 24/7
Qualification- Bachelor´s/Engineer´s degree in engineering from accredited university or college or proven knowledge of general mechanic.
- Manufacturing working experience, preferably in assembly.
- Program or project experience in industry
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in challenging environment
- Knowledge in mechanic and assembly processes is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English language.
- Czech language is a plus
