Job Description:

The Assistant Manager Avionics will be directly responsible to the Director Modifications for the overall operation of the Avionics Department. He/she will plan, direct, lay out and coordinate the activities of departments to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Train and assist his/her subordinates in proper procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty.
  • Maintain all shop equipment and tools in a serviceable and working condition.
  • Ascertain that all necessary work records are properly executed by the responsible mechanic.
  • Maintain the premises of the Repair Station in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Be responsible for the proper handling of all parts while in repair process.
  • Evaluate departmental operations recommending improvements in quality, productivity and employee relations.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree Avionics / Electronics or equivalent in training.
  • Airframe license and/or Repairman Certificate
  • Experience and/or education as Business Manager
  • 5 years Avionics /Maintenance/2 years Avionics Lead.
