This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for avionics installations and line maintenance as required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Ensure quality avionics system installations, repairs and modifications to enhance company growth and support production plan.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of navigation and communication.
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Practical problem solving with multiple variables.
Must be able to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Report all unsafe activities.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill.
Perform work related duties as assigned.
Subject to applicable laws and Sundance policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.

Directly supervises employees in the avionics department and detailing department. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.
