Job Description:

Responsible for performing routine and non-routine heavy commercial aircraft avionics / electrical maintenance and/or modifications in an MRO environment.

Remove and replace various aircraft components and electrical systems with the use of special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and repair all major electrical, communications, and navigational systems down to component level with various testing equipment on aircraft or in a shop environment.
Analyze all repairs deciding independent methods and procedures to accomplish assignments.
Lead and work with a small crew of 2 to 4 mechanics / technicians in performance of their assignments.
Perform the duties of and provide necessary training for lower skill levels.
Maintain and store various tools in a serviceable condition.
Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area
Ability to perform all AD’s, EO’s, SB’s and EA’s,  
Job Requirements:
High School Diplomas or equivalent
5 years of heavy maintenance experience on the A300 aircraft
Heavy experience in performing EO modifications
Exceptional aircraft systems knowledge
Extensive troubleshooting of auto pilot systems and fuel systems.
Salary Range: $17.00-$27.00
