Responsibilities:

• Responsible to repair, modify, install, and perform routine maintenance of all Avionics systems with accuracy and with minimal assistance.
• Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and drawings.
• Apply deductive reasoning to troubleshoot and repair and/or check complex systems.
• Properly utilize Avionics test equipment to perform systems test and keep abreast of new and advanced test equipment and the use of such equipment.
• Properly utilize and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations.
• Keep leadership and co-workers apprised of work progress and/or problems.
• Accurately document work performed as set forth by company and customer maintenance programs on a daily basis using the standard format.
• Fabricate per drawings and standard practices, as well as wire bundles and assemblies to include spaning of wires, properly securing wires into bundles, and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors.

• Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
• Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
• Work Environment : FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• 1 – 3 years experience as an avionics technician, license preferred not required
• Knowledge of removal and installation techniques used for avionics system updgrades on products including but not limited to; Garmin, Avidyne, Aspen, Uavionix, PS Engineering, TRIG, etc.
• Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude, and be willing to contribute effectively as part of a team
• Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory
