Job Description:

CHI Aviation is seeking qualified candidates for CASA 212 Mechanics.   

  • Perform airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements.
  • Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA.
  • Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.
  • Completes all required maintenance records as stated in company GMM.
  • Interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Presents a clean and neat work area to customers.  Maintain facility cleanliness.
  • Perform other aircraft maintenance work as required.
  • Tow and park aircraft.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Lead Mechanic

Job Requirements:
  • A&P rated.
  • Minimum of three (3) years maintaining CASA 212 in remote areas.
  • Current experience maintaining CASA 212 for jump operations, preferred.
  • Avionics of electrical systems experience, preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Maintain a current US Passport.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
