How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Cabin Maintenance Control Technicians are responsible for performing a variety of analytical and technical functions in support of Cabin Maintenance.
They work directly within the CMCC while monitoring cabin MEL, NEF, and other aircraft log entries. Also support any Cabin related AOS.
  • Provide technical support, both avionics and systems, by adding troubleshooting respans FIM, AMM, CMM, & IPC references, and P/N information.
  • Track repetitive items through the ChronicX system and oversee the Cabin related RAM items.
  • Request aircraft routing into maintenance and arrange solutions/parts for RON/RAD aircraft.
The Cabin Maintenance Control Technician is a 24/7 position that works directly with Cabin Maintenance Leads and AMTs and Planning by providing technical support through aircraft log updates and/or live troubleshooting support.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Candidates for this position must have a valid A and P certificate and avionics training is preferred.
  • Candidates must also be EWIS and Air Worthiness Release Qualified (AWRQ).
  • Should be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to handle several tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision, well organized and able to prioritize work effectively.
  • Position is subject to shift work, rotating off days, and non-standard work weeks.
  • Good interpersonal skills / customer-focused attitude required.
  • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
