POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Inspector is a key team leader who is accountable for quality assurance across the company fleet of aircraft.  The CI will direct staff and resources to assure compliance with FAA regulations, company ops specs, company manuals, aviation safety standards and best practices.  The chosen candidate will operate with high standards of integrity and be a positive contributor to our collaborative company culture.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  
The Chief Inspector is accountable (including safety risk acceptance) for the following processes:
Aircraft Fueling and DeicingSpecial Flight PermitsAirworthiness ReleaseMIS / SDR ReportingAging Aircraft ProgramsRequired Item Inspection Program / RII PersonnelAirworthiness Directive RequirementsAircraft Records ManagementMaintenance Provider ManagementQuality Assurance for Major Repairs and AlterationsContinuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS)Weight and Balance Control Aircraft Acceptance and ConformityShort Term EscalationRVSM Maintenance Program
The Chief Inspector must also:
Approve the addition or removal of aircraft from the OpSpecs after conformity check
Understand and actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System, remaining vigilant in the elimination of hazards/associated safety risks
Contribute to the annual and quarterly company budgeting processes
Embrace company culture; act as an ambassador of our brands
 
 
 

GEOGRAPHY:
This role is based at company headquarters on the NH Seacoast
Job Requirements:
10+ years of experience in aviation maintenance5+ years in a supervisory capacity3+ years of maintenance experience on different types of large airplanes with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station, 1 year of which must have been as a maintenance inspectorHold a mechanic’s certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings, such ratings having been held for at least 3 years Experience operating maintenance software Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry or military experience performing relevant functions The ideal candidate has experience in an organization that delivers a superior customer service experience to a discerning client list Candidates must have the right to work in the United States and possess or obtain a valid passport

Relocation:
Travel: 2 - 10 days per month
