About the Job:
We are seeking a passionate Airframe and Powerplant Aviation Maintenance Technician/Mechanic with experience in GA aircraft maintenance (piston and PT6A). This person will work with a team of A&P’s and IA's in the day to day operations of aircraft inspection and repair on GA and Ag aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Air Tractor, etc).
This position requires the knowledge and skillset to work autonomously as well as with a team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, desire for continuous learning, and be humble enough to know when a project or task is not within their experience/skillset in order to ask questions and to LEARN. No job is too small - including shop cleaning and taking out the trash.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, availability for on-call and overtime hours. Traveling to aircraft at other airports and sometimes in other states is also a possibility from time to time, as well as working Fridays and/or Saturdays.
**The successful candidate may be asked to work after hours from time to time: Mon-Thurs, Friday and/or, Saturday.**
Necessary Flexibility: From time to time, we work late in the evening and early mornings to accommodate our clients during their busy season. We give as advanced notice as possible, but sometimes management will only know 24 hours in advance.

Job duties:
- Duties may include, but are not limited to: opening/closing aircraft panels, repairing, fabricating, assembling, painting parts of aircraft, aircraft engine maintenance and repair, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, turbine engine maintenance, sheet metal work, assisting other team members, inventory updates, cleaning work-space and helping with shop cleaning, organizing, etc.
- Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Clients.
- Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of the team and Hangar 1.
- Must be able to take direction from supervisor and team members (whether senior or not -- we all work together cooperatively), SAFETY IS PRIORITY.
- We manage our maintenance on cloud-based software, ability to learn computer programs is a MUST.
- Must abide by all Confidentiality / Non-Disclosure Agreements as requested by Company.
May perform other job duties as directed by supervisor.
