Position Summary
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Supervises, coordinates and assists a team in the assembling, wiring and testing of electrical products and units as laid out in drawings/wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL LEAD JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Analyzes work orders to support schedules that meet both internal and external needs.2. Interprets blueprint specifications and job orders, and assigns work to employees.3. Plans flow of materials through department.4. Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.5. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications.6. Directs and assists employees to repair products which fail to meet standards.7. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.8. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.9. Maintains team improvement board and enforces day by hour boards.10. Provides input on employees for performance assessment purposes.11. Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.12. Performs other duties as necessary.13. Assists in the functions listed below under “essential electrical job functions”
ESSENTIAL ELECTRICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
14. Efficiently builds, lays out and wires electrical control panels.15. Wires custom industrial units using point to point electrical schematics.16. Assembles electrical components, terminals and push buttons.17. Wires instrument controls, pumps, heaters, control valves and lays out flexible and rigid conduit within the skid limits.18. Fastens units in specified locations in case.19. Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.20. Connects lead wires to buzzer, ohmmeter, or resistance tester to test connections for resistance, shorts, and grounds.21. Adjusts contacts, springs, and shafts to meet specifications.22. Troubleshoots and works through problem solving tools to resolve any electrical and mechanical issues that may happen during the final production test.23. Performs the startup and testing of completed products.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
EXPERIENCE: • 1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.• Full product knowledge within the department/value stream.
SKILLS: • Ability to read and assemble from a schematic.• Ability to use problem solving tools to troubleshoot products.• Computer skills including MS Office, Lotus Notes and ability to learn Parker business systems.• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.• Organizational and interpersonal skills.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
Competitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $25.44/hr to $44.09/hr
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
