We are seeking a skilled Engine Mechanic to maintain, repair, and overhaul PT6A turbine engines. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with organizational and interpersonal abilities. The position involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul PT6A turbine engines.
• Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals.
• Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components.
• Disassemble, clean, evaluate, repair, and assemble turbine engines.
• Interpret turbine engine manuals, diagrams, charts, and schematics.
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

• Experience in engine repair and maintenance, specifically PT6A engines.
• Proficiency in aircraft engine troubleshooting and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience in aviation maintenance, preferably on PT6A or PT6T series.
• Must possess own hand tools; special tooling provided by company.
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Work Environment

This role is based in a hangar environment where safety is a priority. You will participate in and support safety initiatives, adhere to safe work practices, and comply with FAA regulations and PPE requirements. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
