Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance

Assist in implementing quality assurance programs, audits, and compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to CAAM regulations and company standards.

• Assist the Manager and Assistant Manager Quality Assurance in implementing quality and safety strategies, including audits, surveillance, and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct surveillance of line and base maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory, company, and manufacturer requirements, and raise reports on deficiencies.
• Support investigations by reviewing incident reports, preparing risk assessments, and following up on Mandatory Occurrence Reports.
• Carry out planned audits, record findings, verify root causes, and monitor closure of corrective actions.
• Conduct evaluation audits for new activities, contractors, or stations.
• Administer airworthiness-related documents such as Certificates of Registration, Airworthiness, Radio Licenses, and ownership or deregistration records.
• Review policies and procedures in CAME and SOPM for compliance with CAAM CAD and regulatory requirements, supporting amendments and approvals.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on MW or AB documentation.
• Maintain updated CAME and SOPM records in AMOS.
• Liaise with CAAM and regulatory authorities during audits, aircraft deliveries, and compliance checks.
• Participate in aircraft delivery programs, including registration and Certificate of Airworthiness applications.
• Support departmental projects, prepare meeting materials, and participate in compliance and safety-related discussions.
• Review and recommend concession and dispensation applications.

• Perform any other QA-related tasks as directed by the superior.

• CAAM AMEL Part-66 Cat B1/B2 or;
• Engineering Degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components;

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in continuing airworthiness.

1. Aircraft continuing airworthiness, and regulatory compliance.
2. Experience with any of MWs fleet of ATR72-212A and DHC6-400 is desired.
3. Familiar with auditing technics, accident and incident investigations and root cause analysis.
4. Familiar with safety management system.
5. Prior exposure with CAMO operations (CAMO Technical Services, CAMO Planning, CAMO Technical Records and Airworthiness Review) is an advantage.

1. Prior experience as a CAMO or Part 145 Quality Assurance Inspector is preferable.
2. Familiar with MCAR 2016, CAAM CADs and CAGMs, CAAM Part 145 and M, EASA Part-M, EASA Part-145, FAR-145 and TCCA.
3. Must be IT literate; good knowledge in digital system including Microsoft Office. AMOS experience is desired.
4. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
5. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
6. Project coordination, stakeholder management and engagement
