F 35 Quality control Inspector(Beaufort SC

This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Field Team Operations team supporting F-35 aircraft maintenance at MCAS Beaufort in Beaufort, SC, and will be responsible for local aircraft quality assurance for a specific set of F35 aircraft modifications.
$33.32 / hour + OT, if needed (1.5x base rate)
Full Per Diem at local rate for duration of assignment as subcontractor
2) years’ experience as F35 maintenance technician
USAF Level 7 or 9 skills rating, or USMC MATMEP 4 rating.
(2) years’ prior experience as titled QC inspector in an aerospace maintenance or modification environment.
experience in inspection of aircraft ground handling/servicing;
component removal/replacement; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD) execution.
experience in inspection of Aerospace Ground equipment AGE/GSE;
Hazardous Waste Management programs; tool & FOD industry standards;
equipment calibration procedures; general security procedures
ability to identify and understand non-conformities as they relate to
safety-of-flight inspections, procedural breakdowns, and/or program
Requires ability to conduct incident and/or mishap
investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by
collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including
failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations.
have full understanding of USAF AFI 21-101 and requirements associated
in aircraft ground operations and maintenance procedures.
Must have working knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
effective communication skills for coordinating with Aircraft
Managers/Supervisors, Field Service Reps, System Engineers, Maintenance
Logistics Support Managers, Customer, COR/QAR and maintainers regarding
quality issues, Instrumentation System Integration, Deficiency
Analysis/Reporting, customer complaints, and other issues related to
higher quality as they occur.
Ability to read/interpret engineering
drawings/instructions; system schematics/blueprints; and technical
Capable of conducting teleconference and/or briefing (presentation) to management/customer
Excellent organizational, administration, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2010).
USAF Level 7 or 9, or USMC MATMEP 4 skills rating
Valid driver’s license.
