Lead advanced diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of aircraft engines and systems, including troubleshooting intricate hydraulic, pneumatic, and power plant assemblies. Serve as a subject matter expert, mentor journeymen and apprentices, and drive quality, innovation, and efficiency in maintenance operations. Ensure compliance, training, and continuous improvement at the organizational level.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform jacking, towing, and ground handling of Falcon aircraft.
- Remove, install, and secure access panels in accordance with Dassault AMM/MPD.
- Conduct lubrication and servicing tasks per Falcon maintenance schedules.
- Assist in Falcon-specific avionics component installations and upgrades.
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance on TFE731, PW307, or similar Falcon powerplants.
- Carry out structural repairs and modifications using Dassault SRM and approved data.
- Troubleshoot and repair Falcon environmental control, anti-ice/de-ice, and pressurization systems.
- Service Falcon O₂ and nitrogen systems, and perform window prism inspections.
- Remove and replace deice boots, troubleshoot ice protection anomalies.
- Conduct fuel and oil filter servicing; troubleshoot and repair Falcon fuel systems for leaks or irregularities.
- Inspect and service Falcon hydraulic and landing gear systems; perform gear swings and rigging checks.
- Adjust and rig flight control systems per Dassault specifications.
- Perform avionics troubleshooting, system checks, and Falcon-specific software updates.
- Conduct engine ground runs to verify performance and systems functionality.
- Perform NDT inspections under supervision.
- Document all work in compliance with FAA regulations and Dassault maintenance documentation requirements.
- Operate Falcon-specific maintenance software and industry tools (e.g., CAMP, Corridor, Dassault Portal).
- Participate in quality control audits and inspections.
- Assist in corrosion prevention and composite repair work.
- Perform wheel/tire inspections, brake servicing, and wheel bearing repacks.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and tool control standards.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Education to meet licenses required (see below).
- IA Required.
- Experience with Cessna and Beech model aircraft.
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid license.
- Must meet the requirements of Airport Authority to be receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions.
Communication Skills:
Must be able to read and speak English. Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic math skills.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Budget Responsibility:
Assist department managers in maintaining a specified budget.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
A & P License, Inspection Authorization License required
Computer Skills:
Basic computer aptitude required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Frequent exposure to general shop conditions, engine noise.
- Frequent exposure to aircraft exhaust, moving mechanical parts, lubricants, metals, and solvents.
- Frequent exposure to seasonal weather.
