Role Summary
* In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and ensure airworthiness a diverse fleet of rotary-wing aircraft while ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards. You will apply your A&P expertise to legacy and modern helicopter systems, collaborating closely with staff and volunteer maintainers to support daily operations. You will uphold the organization’s maintenance quality, documentation accuracy, and culture of professionalism and safety. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a current A&P license.
* Must have a minimum of 3+ years of recent experience with commercial helicopters. Example: Bell 407, Sikorsky S76, S92, Airbus EC135, EC145, AS35, and H125 helicopter maintenance background.
* Must have excellent communication skills, professional work habits, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* You will have an Inspection Authorization.(Preferred)
* Local travel may be required, OJT. (Military Bases) Job Duties / Functions
* You will perform daily and periodic inspections, maintenance, and repairs on engines and the airframe of assigned rotorcraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company directives.
* You will remove and replace parts, accessories, components, and engines as necessary.
* You will troubleshoot aircraft systems, request and replace parts, and ensure their airworthiness.
* You will properly tag and manage the disposition of removed parts.
* You will reinstall new parts on the aircraft and perform operational ground checks when required.
* You will perform clerical tasks, including annotating work orders and aircraft forms to reflect the nature and scope of work accomplished.
* You will sign and certify aircraft logs in accordance with FAA regulations when assigned away from the repair station, and you will be responsible for all company assets at remote locations.
* You will exercise control and responsibility over spare parts and equipment.
* You will maintain your personal copy of the company maintenance handbook and keep tools and work areas neat and orderly.
* You will provide direct supervision to unlicensed mechanics working on aircraft when required.
* You will perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned that support the overall operation and safety of the maintenance team.
* You will work with management to meet goals and objectives in completing aircraft services at both the repair station facility and remote locations.
