The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, while providing regular status updates to management and coordinating with the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Technical Expertise: Perform advanced inspections, diagnose complex mechanical issues, and lead corrective actions. Approve work performed by other AMTs and ensure adherence to technical manuals and regulatory standards.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Perform inventory checks to ensure adequate stock of parts and equipment, maintain the equipment tracking log, authorize replacement requests, and monitor part expenditures.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all service paperwork and FAA documentation are accurately completed and filed. Maintain compliance with company policies and information security standards.
- Safety & Work Environment: Promote a culture of safety and professionalism by sustaining a clean and safe working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
- Communication & Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between departments, vendors, and team members to facilitate efficient operations. Ensure clear and timely communication of maintenance status and priorities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, operations teams, and fellow AMTs to support mission readiness and operational efficiency.
