 Astrum Helicopters is currently seeking a qualified helicopter mechanic/engineer in Belize..
Belize is packed with islands, adventure and culture, on the eastern coast of Central America. The Caribbean Sea shorelines to the east with the massive Belize Barrier Reef, dotted with hundreds of cayes which hosts rich marine life, fishing and diving. The dense jungles to the west which are home to Mayan ruins, waterfalls, caves and many other attractions.
This is a full-time position.
 
 Astrum Helicopters will provide:
  • Work permits and validation of your helicopter mechanic license in Belize (you need to pass an exam with Civil Aviation for this process).
  • Housing and transportation to/from office.
  • Medical Insurance.
Work Locations:
  • Main office and hangar located in Belize City (Primary).
  • Island office and heliport located in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Formally Bell factory trained (with supporting certificates) in all the following helicopters models Bell 206 B Jet Ranger, Bell 206 Long Ranger and Bell 407.
  • Minimum Ten years (10) hands-on turbine helicopter maintenance experience, extensive Bell background including line and overhaul experience.
  • Current mechanic license or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a position in a company operating similar type of aircraft models.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of civil aviation regulations including FAR’s, JAR’s and BCAR’s.
  • Air operator certification process experience.  
  • Computer Knowledge in MS office
  • Candidates must have excellent people skills, clean cut, team players, and willing to learn.
  • FAA or equivalent license
  • English spoken and written is required
  • (if English not primary language, ICAO English Language Proficiency is required)
  • Maximum age to apply 55 years.
Position available immediately.
Minimum monthly guarantee, total compensation is dependent on experience.
