Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform aircraft interior maintenance, repair, and modification tasks to ensure cabin and cockpit components meet safety, quality, and operational standards. You will support heavy commercial maintenance projects and uphold compliance with all technical and safety requirements. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Heavy Commercial Maintenance(examples include: B737, B737 MAX, B747, B757, B767, B777, B787, and MD-11).
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Must have own tools. Preferred Qualifications
* You will have a minimum of an FAA Airframe “A” Certification. Job Duties/Functions
* You will be removing, installing, and servicing aircraft interior components, including:
* Panels, insulation, and floor panels
* Door thresholds, cockpit, and cabin seats
* Overhead bins and window shades
* Carpets and nonskid materials
* Door slides and covers
* Life rafts and stewardess seats
* Air grills and seat covers
* You will be removing, cleaning, servicing, and replacing aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment, following supervisor directives and maintenance manuals.
* You will be recovering aircraft seats and armrests.
* You will be servicing aircraft emergency equipment to specifications.
* You will be performing duties of and providing necessary training for lower skill levels.
* You will be maintaining and storing tools in a serviceable condition.
* You will be adhering to safe maintenance practices and keeping a clean work area.
* You will be maintaining and supplying personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department.
* You will be completing courses as required by the Training Department.
* You will be performing additional duties as assigned by supervision.
