Technician will provide quick-turn aircraft engine maintenance and repair.
You will also provide engine troubleshooting, field repairs, and line maintenance while developing relationships with customers.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow instructions from OEM engine manuals and BP Aero task cards & procedures.
- Use BP Aero supplied common hand tools for engine repairs
- Use BP owned OEM fixtures/tools to perform unique engine module repairs. (such as top cases, hot section replacements, line maintenance, borescope, boroblend, fan case and shroud R&R etc.)
- Follow both written and verbal work instructions.
- Will be required to learn processes for several different engine types.
- Will be required to travel to customer facilities to perform maintenance. Sometimes very short notice so must have this ability. Travel can be up to 20-40% of time.
- Schedule 8 hour day shift, M-F. Weekend availability.
- Night Shift pay differential available and double time pay on Sundays
