Job Title: Aircraft Structure Parts Lay-Up SpecialistJob DescriptionJoin our team to construct aircraft structure parts by laying-up resin-infused carbon fiber in a precise sequence prior to processing in an autoclave, as outlined in engineering drawings and company specifications.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints, and work orders.
- Document materials used in the process to maintain traceability, including out times of cold stored materials.
- Build structural components via vacuum bagging using resin systems with carbon fiber reinforcements.
- Identify and communicate defects in tooling effectively.
- Meet takt times while maintaining specified level of quality.
- Safely handle various regulated materials used in the process.
- Carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure integrity and quality are not compromised.
- Protect and maintain the confidentiality of company products.
- Adapt to changing business conditions by handling other essential tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills- Ability to operate and comprehend data using Windows Operating System®, (MRP) M3 and Royal 5, and SmarTeam.
- Ability to read and follow engineering blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of Introductory Period for internal applicants.
- Non-entry level position requiring prior experience.

Work Environment
Communicate effectively in English for successful job performance. Employment may require minor traveling and protracted or irregular hours. Relocation to another facility may be necessary. Utilize production, machine operation, assembly, inspection, and hand tools in your daily work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
